Happy Sabbath Day!!!
Oh I do hope your weekend has been wonderful! As usual, Erik and I were busy-bees but that's all thanks to the Lord! Friday night was incredible! We were both able to leave work at 3pm to meet at a car dealership in Houston with Erik's parents. They got a brand new 2013 Dodge Durango Thursday and we were able to get a new 2012 Jeep Liberty on Friday!!! Oh, it's beautiful!!! We were in desperate need of a family vehicle since the only vehicle we had was a Single-Cab Dodge Ram 1500. Erik got to keep his truck and I got to drive the family car home. We are so blessed and thankful for Erik's parents being able to help us and we are especially grateful and thankful to God who has provided us with stability to get a family car. After getting the car home, we decided to celebrate at Choo Choo Sushi Bar!!! While there, we praised God and thanked him again. After sitting down for a few minutes, a couple sat down next to Erik. We talked to them the whole night and right before leaving, the man gave Erik his business card, told him to fill out an application and he would put in a good word. We were so thankful, especially after the guy said that they paid a large amount-hehe! We again were beside ourselves and completely shocked! God had provided yet again. God has heard our many prayers and truly been there for us. Most of our time saturday was spent in Belleville with Erik's parents. After leaving Belleville, we drove to Brenham. We spent a few hours in Brenham and after stopping for a drink and snack at "Must Be Heaven", we headed home only to start laundry and finally at 12am, called it a night. After the amazing service at church this morning, it was a TEXANS WIN vs. The Titans!! Which means we are in the playoffs! {Another way God has heard our prayers-hehe} During most of the game, I was lucky enough to hold baby Colton and I had to have a picture of him sleeping on me!! So cute right? He's such a darling baby boy. Right now, Erik is playing Madden, Chief & Brooks are laying on the sofa beside me, there is a load in the washer and dryer, and we are waiting for the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead!!! I can not wait!! I'm definitely looking forward to it, but not as much as I look forward to laundry completion and going to bed!
I hope you have a wonderful night and an easy morning wake-up! Thank you so much for reading and letting us share our stories! Oh, the Last picture is of our cute little people on the back of our car. It symbolizes Erik and I exactly-hehe!
With Love & God Bless

Hear those sleigh bells jingling!
Happy December 1st Amazing People!
We have 24 days until Christmas and today {drumroll please}....... I am starting my pre-baby body dieting & vitamins!! I cannot even being to tell you how excited I am to get into shape and get my body back where it needs to be so that Erik and I can make a little baby Richards. So I thought I would do a weekly update to let you know how things are going. So since today is day one, Ill go ahead and do one.
Pre-Baby Richards Body Blog Update
•Weeks: Day 1 actually(:
•Weight Lost: 0
•Vitamins: Folic Acid & Fish Oil
•Daily Food Menu This Week: Morning-2 boiled eggs & small bowl of Special K cereal with no milk. Midmorning snack-chocolate chip granola bar. Lunch-small salad with grilled chicken on top.
•Workout: 15 mins walking on treadmill & 15 mins alternating walk & run on elliptical.
•Soda Intake: 1 diet coke a week
•Soda Cutback Goal For Next Month: 1 diet coke a month
•Food Cravings: French Fries ):
•Symptoms: Sleepiness aka withdrawals from missing my daily diet coke.
•Happy or Moody: Happy {it's Christmas time duh!}
•Looking Forward To: Completely cutting out sodas. Also, health insurance. Erik will be going to Union workers school in January which means free health insurance for me. Which also means I will be able to visit the OBGYN regularly to make sure my body is where it needs to be or at least he can help me get my body to where it should be.
•Miss Anything: I will be adding Prenatal vitamins to my daily vitamin intake on January 1st.
So I will be sure to update that weekly and maybe after a few months compare and see how much has changed. I am so excited to share this journey with you all and hope you have a current journey you are proud of as well. If not, find something that makes you happy, and remember to always try to reach your goals!
God Bless
