Playoffs...Watt Watt?!? 01.05.2013

Ok so let me just start by saying WAY TO GO TEXANS!! We didnt do as amazing as I had hoped but it was a playoff win none the less. Erik and I had a busy day! We woke up to zoom straight off to the eye doctor for Erik. He got a great pair of glasses and luckily it only cost us a couple bucks but now he can see!!! Afterwards, we ate a delicious lunch with Eriks parents at Willie's, it was so good. Then we met his parents at their house only to get tickets to the Texans Playoff game. So as you can imagine, we {once again} zoomed off and without much traffic or delays, made it to Reliant Arena! We had to fight other cars to find parking and then walk like 7 blocks just to get to the stadium. We finally made it to our seat and enjoyed a very exciting game. Although, people get too excited and someone split a little beer on Erik and I. Either way, it was still a great time and totally fantastic! Now we are watching Looper and will end the night by watching What to Expect When Expecting :)
So to finish this post, here's a some pictures from our long and crazy day.

God Bless

•Soda Intake: 0
•Soda Cutback Goal For Next Month: I have not had a soda in over 2 weeks now! Yay!

•Symptoms: Sleepy but I think it is from the craziness of the holidays because I have had no withdrawals from the Dt. Coke yay!
•Happy or Moody: Happy!
•Looking Forward To: Getting pregnant with a healthy baby!
•Miss Anything: I have completely stopped drinking sodas! I now drink only water or lemonade. It does get hard at times but I just keep reminding myself of the goal at hand. Still haven't started a workout routine, but will definitely get on that soon. Oh and I can't forget to mention {WARNING T.M.I.}....I started something like a period today after a few months of it being MIA. hopefully this is a good sign and Erik and I can time it perfectly and get that BFP!!! {If you don't know, BFP stands for Big Fat Positive-from a pregnancy test}

So tonight, Erik and I were busy sitting at the dinner table surrounded by silence, and our dogs rough-housing, while I helped him study for 3 hours. He has a big test to take tomorrow at work so I was being a good wife and assisting but he was lucky because it was my favorite subject....Math!!! Here are few photos from tonight. The first picture is of him studying and focusing very hard! Picture number two is him throwing his paper in the air because he was done studying (:

God Bless

Recap of our 12/31/2012!

So let me just say that this year Christmas & New Year went by way to fast! I mean with just a blink, the 2012 year ended and we entered 2013. I haven't even had a chance to recap yet(:
Which leads me here....a recap of New Years Eve that flew by way to fast.
Let me start with a few things I love! I love that 2012 has brought so many changes and really has taught me things I never thought I'd learn. For example, I learned who true friends are versus fake friends, I learned that being a wife is about enjoying the big things and not worrying about the little things, how to be a better person in my social, home and work lives, how important family is, and to never give up on the things that mean most. Most importantly though, Erik and I found God together this year. It was such a great feeling to have him beside me as we walked hand in hand down the righteous path to our lord. I know he has a lot in store for us not just as husband and wife but as individuals. I think one of the things that I look forward to in 2013, is creating a new life with my husband. God made husband and wife so that they could make offspring and so that is what we will do. But back tracking, before 2012 ended I snapped some pictures and wanted to share them with you! {Oh, let me just mention how much I love finger foods!! Hence the food photo-hehe!}

I hope your new year is treating you right and may god bless you and your family.

With love,

Megan
