There's A New Kid In Town And He's Laying In A Manger Down The Road!

Happy Sounds of Our Savior Sunday!

Today was incredible! Erik and I woke up at 7am to arrive at Second Baptist Church at 8:15am. We were baptized in cold water but it was a fantastic way to being our new lives not only as a married couple, but as new Christians {or Baptists-hehe}. We then went to the 9:30am "Sounds of Christmas" service which was fantastic! At the opening of the service, they played both mine & Erik's baptism video. It was such a wonderful experience and it was really awesome seeing ourselves on the big screen! Most of the service was Christmas songs, but there are some incredible singers at Second Baptist and the singers were both children and adults. It was truly fantastic and really touched our hearts. After church, we went to the 3rd floor of the building and sat in on the "3's A Crowd" young newlyweds class. We met lots of young married couples, and everyone was so sweet. We instantly made friends with a couple who sat beside us during the whole class. Afterwards another couple came up and we immediately became clicked. Erik and the husband of the lady I was talking to, hit it off all thanks to football-haha. Everyone invited us to join them at Firehouse Subs for lunch but we respectfully and thankfully declined since we had plans with Erik's family. Today was an especially great class day because we found out that a couple who had been "trying" for 4 years finally got pregnant and...... With Twins through IVF! Let me just say, I LOVE babies so knowing that classmates are having little ones is fantastic because it means baby showers and baby clothes! It was truly a wonderful class and we will definitely be going every week. I'm hoping we can make friends with some of the incredible people there. Well good news is, we have one thing in common, we all love to praise the Lord! After church, we met up with Erik's parents, Aunt Carol, Nathan & Jordan at Applebees. It was a rather funny lunch because the boys always say such funny things! We told them that on December 22nd, Erik and I would take them to see the Kids Crazy Christmas Show at Second Baptist, AND..... they could ride in our new Jeep! Oh boy, they loved that idea(: When lunch ended, we said our goodbyes and headed home to relax. Then I decided to start trying to clean up a little. Now I am doing laundry and Erik is playing XBox, as always-hehe. Before I head to switch out laundry and take a shower, I have to say this to you: remember to praise God in all you do and for all you have because without him you couldn't possibly have or do the things you've been blessed with.

Good night & God Bless You Always
