A Pirates Life for Me! {05.31.2013}

Last night was “The Night!” Amanda and I went to the Houston Symphony to see the Pirates of the Caribbean and oh my goodness, it was amazing! I don’t even think amazing covers it. It was just spectacular! I have been to symphonies before and they have never really interested me much until this one! I was so impressed by how perfectly timed the orchestra was with the music and, not to mention, they were so crystal clear! Playing just loud enough to hear the beauty of the music, but not so loud that you could still hear the words to the movie. Luckily, I have seen that movie more than 1,000 times {not joking}, so I knew every single line! We didn't stay for the whole movie, after intermission things headed south for us. My feet were killing me after working all day and wearing heels, our butts were getting tired, the seats were actually not comfortable at all, and to make matters worse, there was a scream child down below whose parents did not think to remove him from the hall and a man a few rows behind us was making a very loud clicking noise which was very irritating and distracting. Although we would have loved to stay had it been on Friday night, but I knew I had to work today {staying late too} so I knew it probably wasn’t best to stay through the whole movie. All in all, it was worth the money and even staying for just that 1 hour, we left with a smile, getting excited for the next opportunity to return to the symphony. I am just so glad we went because it was definitely a night to remember! Oh, and we couldn't leave without snapping some pictures…here they are…enjoy!
We were definitely photo-bombed by Amanda's husband, Will!

Yay! Before leaving for Symphony!

Baby Anderson Gender Reveal {05.30.2013}

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing and making my best friends Will and Amanda's gender reveal video. But before all that crazy stuff happened, I wanted to give my beastie her pre-baby shower baby gifts. I've been buying her baby stuff for a while, both in girl and boy genders, and I was FINALLY able to give her something other than gender neutral items. I had bought her about 6 long-sleeve onesie type outfits, and Erik and I gave them to her. She loved them and we were so glad because we really wanted her to like them. Afterwards, we all headed out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and had lots of good laughs and I must say, it was truly a wonderful night with great friends. After dinner, we headed back to their house, got them all "done-up" and snapped some super cute pictures!! We didn't leave their house until about 10. As soon as I arrived home, I started editing the photos and putting together their gender reveal video. I had to remake it about 3 times before getting it perfect, but {if I do say so myself} the video turned out fabulous and is absolutely adorable!!! Click here for the video link...

Here are just some fun photos I took... Make sure you view the video, it's precious!

Family photo (minus bear) couldn't fit him in this picture but he is between mommy and daddy's feet

Tonight, Erik and I were supposed to go to the Houston Symphony, but instead of Erik going, Amanda will be joining me. Erik decided he wanted to stay and hang out with his best friend, Will. Which I was totally fine with since I don't get any "alone time" with my bestie. I can't wait to post some pictures from tonight at the Symphony!

Thank you for viewing and if you are in need of custom invitations or videos, please contact me. I charge $10 for custom invitations and send you a high resolution photo that you can use to print out on your own paper. I can print for you, this will cost additional (based on printing company and type of paper- I DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA, just the flat fee given by the printing company). Videos cost $20 and includes 5 editing changes. You will get the code to post it where ever you'd like. All money raised is going towards my college tuition.

Also, my best friend, Amanda makes wreaths. I am not sure on pricing, but they are gorgeous! I will post some pictures this weekend, let me know if you are interested and I will give you her contact information.

Thank you so much and God Bless

Memorial Day Weekend Update {05.29.2013}

Whoa! I completely forgot to update this! This week has just been crazy!!! After having a holiday on Monday, I have been trying to get things back in line. We didn't really do too much over the weekend; I must say we were actually very boring. We actually didn't leave the house but maybe once or twice and one time it was to grocery shop. But we did get to spend time with some family on Sunday which was really nice. We went to the in-laws house on Sunday and it was packed. Aunt Carol, the boys – Jordan and Nathan, Shannon, Jennifer, Colton, Chrysta, Me, Erik, Mom, and Dad were there. It was just so great seeing them all and catching up. It’s always nice when there is an opportunity to see family. I really wish we would’ve taken a trip to a lake or the beach, but we just didn't get around to it…I guess sitting around all day was just easier and less expensive-haha. We didn't end up going to Lake Buchanan, but luckily, it’s not going anywhere soon so we can visit another time. Tonight we are going to our best friends’ Amanda and Will’s house to spend some time with them since we didn't this past weekend. Tomorrow night, I can’t wait, we are going to the Houston Symphony to see Pirates of the Caribbean! I cannot stress how excited I am! It’s going to be our little “anniversary night” since we were both sick the weekend of our anniversary. I did get to snap some pictures from this weekend…Enjoy!
